Asia-Pacific Regional Press Freedom Seminar
1 and 2 October 2001

In early October, the Press Council hosted a seminar on Press Freedom and Responsibility in the Asia-Pacific Region.

With the assistance of the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAid) and News Limited, the Council brought delegates to Sydney for the two-day seminar. The Council had also invited a number of local delegatesw to attend.

On the website, the Council now publishes a report on the conference and the following papers:
