- About us
The Australian Press Council organises the following educational activities for journalists, students of journalism and other people who work in or are especially interested in the print media:
The Council offers seminars based on prepared case studies to universities and other organisations which provide education and training for students of journalism. They provide an opportunity to learn about the Council's standards by simulating its processes for adjudicating on complaints. The seminars are presented by members of the Council or its staff.
Some of the case studies will be posted shortly.
The Council provides awards for outstanding work by journalism students on issues relating to ethics of journalism. Journalism departments in tertiary institutions which are interested in participating in this program are invited to contact the Council.
